eleven days left..........

I have eleven days left in the UK.  I am not sure how I have gotten to where I am.. or where the time has gone.. but my 10 months here is almost at a close!  I am having such mixed emotions about it all.  I am nervous, excited, sad, terrified... along with so many other emotions.. to move back to the US and leave everything behind here in England.

Hmm... 3 more days of classes, 4 assignments to finish, 1 tutorial and 2 assessments... just gotta keep swimming to the weekend.. then it is officially summertime!

Will write more later... for now I should get back to my final notebook that is due tomorrow... hmmm..

Cheers! mk :)

The End is Near..

This is the beginning of Week 7 (out of 10) for Term 3 here at Laban.  The assessments are still neverending and I am not doing a great job at keeping up with my sleep.  The end is drawing near, though.  Once I can make it through my last few assessments, I should be ok from there.  I still have my Teaching Studies assessment this Friday afternoon, Contemporary (Modern) Technique assessment along with my Choreology 2 assessment/presentation next week, end of year show the following week, and then Jazz and Ballet assessments along with a huge module file due for my Teaching Dance Technique class in the final week.  It seems as though the craziness will never end, but I am so thankful that as each week has gone by this term, I have been able to check off at least one more assessment, rather than having everything happen within the final couple of weeks.  It has been helpful to know that each week I am accomplishing some task and finishing something off.  Among everything that I am trying to get finished here, I am also trying to be diligent in planning ahead for when I return in a month.  Jodie and I are looking for a new apartment to move into this summer and I am also trying to get everything set up for teaching in the fall alongside my studio internship... and 17 or 18 credit hours at school.  The next year should be interesting to say the least.  Full of craziness for sure.

For now, I guess I better go ahead and get back to all the work that I need to get started on... there certainly is a pile of it.  More to come later - cheers :) mk
